CAT 2018 will be conducted by Indian Institutes of Management Calcutta (IIM C), and the score of which will be used for admission to various post graduate management programs offered at IIMs and other non IIM b-schools in India and abroad. CAT 2018 will be conducted in two (2) sessions at various test centres across 147 cities. Applicants can select four test cities in the order of preference.

IIM CAT 2018: Eligibility
To be eligible to write the CAT 2018, an applicant must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA [45% in case of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Persons With Disability (PWD) categories], from any recognized university or educational institution or possess an equivalent recognized qualification. The percentage of marks obtained by the candidate would be calculated based on the practice as followed by the respective University/Institution.
IIM CAT 2018 Registration
Registration for CAT 2018 will open on 8th August, 2018 and will close on 19th September, 2018 at 5:00 PM. At the time of registration, candidates can select four test cities in the order of preference. After the registration process ends, candidates will be allotted one among the four preferred cities subject to availability. In case a candidate is not allotted any of the preferred cities, (s)he will be allotted a nearby city. The candidates can download the Admit Cards from 24th October, 2018 till 25th November, 2018.
Rs. 950 for SC, ST, PwD candidates; Rs. 1,900 for all other categories
(Registration fee needs to be paid only once, irrespective of the number of institutes applied for)
CAT 2018: Test Centres
CAT 2018 will be conducted in test centers spread across around 147 test cities. Test cities are mentioned in the official CAT website and the name of the test centre will be indicated in the CAT Admit Card.
CAT 2018: Exam
The CAT 2018 will be have three (3) sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC), Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR), and Quantitative Ability (QA).
